French Thyme

Let’s take a trip to Provence! The wonderful aroma of French thyme is indispensable in the kitchen. Strongly aromatic and perfect for roasts, veggies, stews, and even cocktails and lemonade! This versatile herb lasts long in your garden and is a must have for the culinary inclined. Use it fresh cut or dry it for later use.

Thyme can be planted in any area of the garden. It will do well in some shade but prefers full sun. Over time, the plant can become woody. It’s best to continually prune or harvest to encourage the plant to produce new, younger shoots. Its flowers attract beneficial insects, bringing more life to the rest of your garden.
